Shelves and QR labels
Make all your shelves at once and print a QR label for each.
A location is a place stock sits: a shelf, a bin, a room. Each one has a short code printed on a QR label, so anyone can find things and scanning the label shows what's there.
Make many at once#
Go to Locations → Generate many and pick how to name them:
| Way | Gives you |
|---|---|
| Name them for me | Codes from your branch code: MAIN-01, MAIN-02… Say how many. |
| Aisles and shelves | Aisles A to D with shelves 1 to 12 gives A-01 … D-12. |
| My own letters | SHELF-01, SHELF-02… with the word you choose. |
| I'll type them | Paste a list, one code a line. |
For aisles and shelves you can also fill in a zone and description pattern, like "Aisle {1}" and "Aisle {1}, shelf {2}". {1} is the aisle and {2} the shelf, so every location gets a readable name and nobody has to remember codes.
Tap Preview. You'll see every code before anything is saved, and you can change any code, zone or description, or leave rows out. Codes you already have are marked and skipped, so running it twice does no harm.
Tap Save, and you'll see how many were created and how many already existed.
Print the labels#
Right after saving, tap Print labels to get a PDF of QR labels for the new locations (21 to an A4 page). To print every label for a branch, use Print all labels on the Locations page.
One at a time#
Locations → New location adds a single one. Every location can be renamed later; codes must be unique across all your branches.
